In a commanding performance, England secured a further victory versus their opponents, featuring a number of players turning in memorable displays throughout the game.

First-choice XI

The goalkeeper Had little to do to make in the first half before called into action from Arbër Hoxha’s curling effort. His sliding challenge on Qazim Laci showed sharp game intelligence. 6/10

The debutant Challenged by the opposition's primary attacker in Hoxha. Played more centrally early on then shifted out wide once a teammate entered the fray. 7

The defender Pushed into midfield when in possession, something he's known for previously. Sometimes lacked urgency on the ball with the approach abandoned by the interval. Six

The tall defender A constant threat from dead balls, per usual, perhaps is a replacement for his teammate in defense as opposed to his partner. One wayward pass later in the match came close to a goal for the visitors. Six

The young full-back Another assured performance from the 20-year-old after his debut versus another side. Saka was unable to take full advantage of a clever touch behind the opposing backline. The role looks secure so soon. Seven

The newcomer His maiden beginning in an England shirt. Somewhat careless on the ball though his whipped corners posed a danger. An effective pace-controller available to the coach to have against teams who drop deep. Booked for a poorly timed challenge. 6/10

Declan Rice Set-pieces from dead balls and set-plays caused problems. Was given license to roam down the left flank only to be in an offside position as the pass came in front of goal. Granted a merited substitution after an hour. 6/10

The star midfielder Played in a high position on the right while also did plenty of the hard yards. Demonstrated flashes of quality and scuffed an effort high. Substituted towards the end by a teammate, a fellow player, after being booked. 7

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with England’s clearest opportunity of the first half, his shot smartly stopped by Thomas Strakosha. As a teammate holding position, he was forced to stretch the play down the right side yet his deliveries from the touchline were hit and miss. Substituted with 15 to go. 6

The captain The difference-maker scoring two more goals in an England shirt. The opener a trademark close-range tap-in and his next an excellent header after peeling away off his defender. Aged 32, he’s only getting better and the side stand a real opportunity in the upcoming tournament with him up top. 8

Eberechi Eze Struggled to get into the game on the left flank. Was presented with a decent opportunity after being played in by the midfielder but the keeper kept it out. His replacement had a greater influence when substituted. 5/10

• Foden (replacing a teammate 63) Was bright connecting effectively with Kane in a preferred position, 6/10
• Bukayo Saka (on for Eze 63) Missed opportunities but his corner created the opener, 6/10
