19 of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been earned on hard courts
A resurgent Medvedev secured his initial championship for over two years with victory over Frenchman Moutet in the competition final.
The Russian, a ex- world number one, has experienced a challenging season, managing just one match at the Grand Slams and experiencing a meltdown at the American major.
The player's inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and struggles with his service game in particular - resulted in him falling of the world's top 10 and finally parting ways with former coach Gilles Cervara.
Currently working with his coach and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually advanced in the last few weeks - culminating in a closely contested competitive triumph over opponent Moutet.
This marks the player's maiden trophy after the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard surface after that period of 2023.
The win also indicates he has secured twenty-one victories at 21 various events.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a event with my children together, so to win a title is really nice," commented world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in honour of my child her name, because the initial championship I achieved when my child my daughter was born was for her."
Medvedev, the former major winner, had lost his past six finals, featuring in the German tournament earlier this year.
His retrieving approach and frequent outbursts on the playing surface had led observers to question if his capacity to compete at the elite level was over.
Yet the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in the past month, attempting to approach the net and perform aggressively, backed up by an better service.
The champion came back from a disadvantage in the first set against the tricky Moutet, winning 4 of the concluding five points to gain the advantage.
The pair traded breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, attempting for his maiden tour championship, seized the initiative to push for a third set.
Moutet rescued four early break points in a competitive deciding set before Medvedev broke to 15 to close out the victory.
Fittingly, Medvedev earned the win with a point at the front of the court, with Moutet unable to control a volley after a lengthy match.
